I am having problems copying a movie with Nero and dvd shrink.It turns a disc into a perfect coaster about half way through the burn stage.I am thinking of purchasing dvd fab because it sounds the best.Looking for the simplest,cause I am not the best at this stuff!!!
with the free version dvdfab decrypter you need dvd shrink and then to burn you need imgburn or nero. the pay version is dvdfab platinum does it all transcodes burns etc.so you don't need imgburn/nero or dvd shrink),thats your choice the pay version doesn't work better just less steps.dvdfab platinum does have a free trial
remember to use good media like Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim burning at 4x to 8x max.

absolutely not, if you have owned dvdfab platium..dvdfab platium is more than is enough, you're no longer need nero recode and dvd shrink anymore..dvdfab platium simply the best, more 80% people use dvdfab platium to shrink and backup their dvd..
they have very good support forum and software update very fast.

Could you please provide some facts to support your "80%" number?
Maybe he meant DVDFab Platinumor DVDFab HD Decrypter...that could add up to a high number, however,I don't know if more than 80%. AnyDVD has also quite a few users. DVDFab HD Decrypter being free, probably more people use it though. It would be an interesting statistic...
