i have been trying to copy an .avi file to a DVD-R and it burns successfully but when i go to watch it on my dvd player the audio does not match up to the video.
just wondering of someone could lead me in the right direction.

This happens with certain versions of Nero 7...do you know which version you are using.

the version of NERO burning ROM is 7.10.1.2

also test your avi, use AVI-MUX GUI a free app

load file in top windows, then highlight it and click big long button under that window, then it loads to bottom window, look to the right side in the ms dealy box (highlight audio line to see ms delay)
