Hi.
I download and burn a few PS2 games (all DVD games) and I play them on a Debugging Test PS2.
I rebuild every ISO using ISOBuster, CDDVDGEN and IML2ISO.
I then burn the image to Verbatim DVD-R using DVD Decrypter.
All my games work fine but I've heard of this 'Booktyping'.
Should I be doing this? What are the advantages of doing so?
Also, another question I have is I downloaded Tekken 5 ntsc and burnt that and it works fine but when I compared this to a PAL original copy of the same game, the load times between battles appear noticeably shorter on the original pal version. Why is this?
You can only booktype using DVD+R,and the advantages are to increase compatibility on different ps2 consoles, thats all (i.e booktyping to DVD-ROM is what you would have seen)
Just out of interest, why are you rebuilding every game?
