I am wanting to buy a portable USB drive that I can use to put movies on from my laptop, then plug into my PC to watch on a big screen. Here is the link for the one I am thinking about buying, but was wondering if it will do what I am trying to accomplish.(Instead of burning to cd or transfering wirelessly to pc)

Personally i think the 4 gb will suck.

most DVDs are 4.3 gbs and some are even 4.7 squeezed.

and jump drives come always less than what they claim..that 4 GB will be like 3.8 GBs

and cost is $24.99 but at microcenter (if you have one around you) sells an 8 Gb for $29.99. I use one all the time for my studies in CCNA. 30 half hour movie and three PDF books dont even begin to burden the capacity.

Microcenter has an online store http://www.microcenter.com/

good luck

i was assuming that the movies would be in avi format like most of my movies. that would take 700mb per movie. also you are really getting 4gb but the space you see is formatted.
