i'm just about to start using imgburn when i went onto their forum's to see what the best way to write a d/l disk was (i have posted there but it has to be approved by an admin before its posted, so i thought i would post to this trusted site where i get most my answers from) where i came accross "build" in the "mode" options, basicly i backed up a dvd using decrypter, usually i just use decrypter "mode" then "write" is it the same process in imgburn as it is in decrypter? and what is the "build" option used for?

The build mode is for non iso files. So like if you ripped the movie and needed to burn the video_ts folder you would click on the build mode, add the folder then set the burn settings.

If it's an iso then you would just use the burn mode.

If you had set to rip in iso mode then you'll have an iso. If it was in file mode you'll have a video_ts folder.
