I've been using iTunes to put new cds to my computer, and now I would like to burn some of those new songs to an audio cd. How I could make these aac/m4a files mp3 files, or is there some burning program which can read aac/m4a files???

If you still have the source CDs, better use lossless compression or .wav for temporary storage when creating audio CDs.

If you insist on using aac/m4a files, you can use Nero (maybe you must rename m4a to mp4) which should be able to burn AAC directly or use e.g. foobar2000 for decoding to. wav before burning. Its replaygain feature is helpful for getting same perceived volume on compilations from different CDs and to prevent clipping of decoded files.
