I'm trying to burn a copy of Elton John 60 Live at Madison Square Garden. The compression is at about 43 to 45 for each of to main titles/movies. There seems to be a lot of memory taken up with different types of audio. In title 1 there are 2 audio types checked: LPCM 2-channel English at 742MB and DTS 5.1-ch English at 364MB. In the second title there is one audio choice: LPCM 2-ch English at 1,155MB. For all the menus there is one choice of: AC3 2-ch Unspecified.

When I highlight the main Disk name at the top of the list, in this case: Elton_60_D1 it shows: AC3 2-ch Unspecified at 17MB, LPCM 2-channel English at 1,897MB, and DTS 5.1-ch English at 364MB.

Obviously the more of these audio choice I uncheck the better the compression ratio is for the main titles, like up to 70 some odd percent. When I uncheck them and play the title in the preview area it still plays the sound. But if I have DTS 5.1-ch English checked in the submenu from a right hand mouse click on the preview screen, no sound plays. It only has audio when LPCM 2-channel English is checked.

So I am confused about how to select the audio settings. I need more than compression ratios in the 40's but, obviously the audio is very important in a music performance DVD.

Can someone shed some light on this for me....?

Thanks!

you system your playing it back on has to be able to decode DTS audio you won't get any sound, so put a check mark in the 5.1 surround sound and the DTS audio if your system can play it. don't check the 2 channel audio

sounds like you need to use a DVD+R DL dvd-9 blank or use DVD Rebuilder 40% is to much compression and will be poor quality on playback
