I bought a used psp for my daughter last christmas and after a few weeks playing with it she decided its not for her and just kept the Nintendo DS. Last week I tried to download the newest update for the psp and giving me some error and because the system software is a 3.40 OE-A, did a research and found out that I can do alot on a psp like downloading games and bunch of cool stuff in it. Now my question how can I update to a 3.90 m33 with a 3.40 oe-a already installed, do I need to downgrade to a 1.5 to do this and where can I download some free games to my psp, Thanks!

1st
you do need is download this pack
http://karkri6.freehostia.com/download/3.52%20M33-4.zip

Extract all the files onto your PSP in the PSP/GAME folder

go on your psp and go to game and then mamory card.
select m33 creator click x
let it run untill it says otherwise or it could ruin your psp.

Once finished run the one called
"M33 Upgrade 3.52″

follow the instructions from there and once thats done run
M33Update #4


next you need to upgrade to m33 3.71
go to psp-hacks.com and get the Custom firmware and the Official 3.71
place the custom firmware folder in your game folder on the psp and put the official eboot.pbp in there renamed to 371.PBP

run that on your psp

next you need to go to the same site but get the 3.90 official and custom firmwares(set it up the same way as the 3.71 except you rename to 390 in the game folder)

from there you can run the network update on the psp

get games from pspisoz.com

download and place the extracted iso in ms0:/ISO
