Magic Memory stick problems with vista

has anybody managed to create a magic memory stick using windows vista? because atm i am having problems when getting to the step of msinst thanx

Its not easy, I've done it once but by no conventional way. for some reason Vista just does not liek to properly write the ipl. file to the psp's memory stick (the file that makes it bootable). like i said i did it once but i think it was a fluke :P. anyways to be honest i would jsut recommed xp.

However, I did jsut recently see an application on PSP-hacks that was a magic memory stick creator. it didnt say anything baout being XP specfic. you should give it a try. Its called "Pandora CMD Front End" Its the second from the bottom on the main page...

thanks mate just solved problem, used virtual pc on a mac to do it using noob installer program, now updating to 3.90 M33!
