So, ive used Popstation to get the image, then used the .bat to convert it to the correct file format for the psp, moved it into the GAME folder, and when i launch it, it shows the parental splashscreen, then proceeds to the "now loading screen", and it hangs there.
Ive got the most up to date FW 3.90 M33-3, the game has 0 compression, after testing it with 2-9 and still having the same problem.
The Game is Vagrant Story, ive seen a video showing that it works, but I'm having no luck attempting this.
First of all, I'd suggest always using 9 compression. I've heard that less compression can cause lag on some games.
Anyway, I don't know much about it, but perhaps I can offer some advice. Certain popsloader versions will have better success with certain psx games. People tend to suggest popsloader 3.52 or 3.71 files for the best compatability with the most games.
That is a package containing all of the files needed for all 3.XX popsloader versions. You can copy the versions you need onto your memstick. Then, when loading the psx game, hold the R trigger, and you should see the popsloader menu. From there, try selecting 3.52 (and if that doesn't work, try 3.71)
If neither of those work, try others, or search for popsloader compatability lists to see which verion best supports your game. :)
