EEE PC w/Linux OS: NEED Linux version of Blackberry Desktop Manager

i have the bb 883o world edition phone.I also have the new Asus made small laptop that runs on Linux OS. I would like to load the BB Desktop Manager on it. How do you convert to Linux? Or how do I find one for Linux?
Actually, maybe I should just load XP on the laptop (because it WILL do that per the manual) and then load BB Desktop...just concerned abt memory.
