Hi
I noticed process VMPIRVSE.EXE running on the background and at times taking up a lot of CPU time. Google showed that wmpirvse.exe is a valid windows process, but vmpirvse.exe is not. I downloaded HiJackThis v2.0.2 and ran it, but can't make out anything of the log file.
I am unable to locate that file with any tools in my computer, I even downloaded RegRun Reanimator which found something named HVDOWE.EXE. However RegRun Animator says that file is either deleted or protected by rootkit.

start HJT, click the "Scan" button. check the items below, close any open windows, then click "Fixed checked"
