I have a Nintendo DS Lite that has served me well for approx. 11 months.
It was new as of April 29, 2007.

My screen has been acting funny as of around January of 2008.

Funny as in, the touch screen detects input from the user, but no input is being put in. For example, on my game "The Legend of Zelda: The Phantom Hourglass", Link is moved around using the stylus (not the arrow keys). When I've been playing for a while, Link will start moving by himself in some random direction. This has happened to me on several occasions.

I had turned off the system and turned it back on so I could calibrate it. No use. I reset it again. It still gives me these phantom inputs. It even selected a game for me one time!

I have never thrown my DS, put it under a large amount of pressure, or have dropped it before. Does my warranty still cover this?

** Fun little fact: I have sat on, dropped and basically abused my original DS, but it always worked PERFECTLY. Did the DS Lite falter in sturdiness?
