Have an old version 1.1.8 and it has never worked. Have contacted the vendor in the past and was told they were working on the problem. Just contacted the vendor today and was told it is outdated and would have to buy new version for updates. Is anybody using this product? Are there better programs to back up my copies?

did u have used successfully the s/w before buying? If not then u must not complain!
On the other hand did u r against free s/w?
do not pay attention to the sirens of 1 click copy progs
As it is already mentioned try first the suggested free s/w
