I have burned Hitman Blood money with Alcohol 120%. Initially after i have burnt Hitman it works for the first few plays, but eventually the game stops loading at the start screen or does not load a save game. I am using Phillips DVD-R and burning at 4x speed and i am using a slimline ps2 with a matrix infinity mod. Could it be the burn speed or the DVD's i am the game burning to? Could someone please help me?

Try using different media like Maxell, or Verbatim, and also make sure that when you burn DVDs, they aren't scratched, at all.

Go to somewhere where there is much light, and examine the disc before burning onto it, if it is scratched the game will not run smoothly and will sometimes freeze. Also try burning with DVD Decrypter instead.

Sony's work the best, from my experience anyways. Also i herd burning it on 1x speed is the best way to go. obviously the slower the burning process the less likely of a mistake happening. it only takes about 20-30 minutes burning a 3-4gb game on 1x so its all good. def use DVD decrypter. i havent had a problem at all with using those things (sony, 1x, dvd decrypter) and i burned like uh 30+ games

It makes sense that Sony would be sufficient, they both are made from the same company, thus the reason why both mend will together.

Burning at 4x speed is fine. Burning Too slow can cause problems with some backups also.
The 4x speed is consistent to make sure the whole disc is burned evenly and with most discs being 8x or 16x by and up that is fine.
I agree with using Sony DVD-R as thats what I have used mostly also.
