I am running SuperPI downloaded from Here:
http://www.xtremesystems.com/pi/
and I keep getting a checksum error when I validate it. I tried it on my Q6600 which is at 3.07GHz and also my E1505 which has a 2GHz Core2Duo. Both get checksum errors. Can anybody else try this and tell me if they also get a checksum error.

due i had some some issues with my core 2 duo at first when i was overclocking it, i think i could squeeze out of it about 400mhz (im a bit of a panz)

i think most Overclockers will agree that prime95 is the software to go with:)

Prime95 gives me no checksum errors but SuperPI does. Do you get checksum errors on your machine? I also get checksum errors on my non overclocked E1505 laptop.

Run OCCT for a couple of hours and then Orthos for a couple of hours. If your system can pass those, it's stable, and should certainly be stable enough to run superpi. Have you tried using superpi mod instead?

Yea, look at the link in the first post. There is a download for SuperPi Mod 1.5 there. I downloaded that, ran it and confirmed the checksum and it failed. Can you try it out? Does the checksum validation fail for you too?

Yeah I get incorrect checksum as well. I wouldn't worry about it.

Alright. Thanks. BTW, I did run Prime95 for about 30 minutes and it was stable. Max CPU temp was 55 or 65C, not exactly sure.

I'll let you know exactly what it was. I'm really not worried about temp. It's never going to max out 4 cores for 30 minutes with what I do.
