I used to be able to watch streaming video fine. A few months ago something strange happened. Videos started playing very poorly in full screen mode. Since I'm w/o cable I watch most of my TV online. Some sites work like ABC (Lost) and Fox (House, Till Death), The CW (Reaper). Most other networks don't play right NBC (The Office), ABC Family (Kyle XY), CBS (Big Bang Theory), YouTube. Some of the sites go 'Full Screen' in the browser and those work fine. But anything that does full screen and actually uses my screen the picture has .. i guess a very low frame rate. It's like watching a flipbook.


I thought it might have been my output adapter because at the time a few bent pins meant that everything was a nice yellow tint so I was willing to accept it until I got a new output adapter. I've had a new one for a month now and I can't take this deficiency anymore. I at one point thought maybe it was my memory. I have a 512 MB stick and a 256. The 256 is older than my ownership of the computer and the 512 is a replacement for one of the 256 that died. There was a period of time when the computer was only registering the new stick but I took it out and put it back and that's no longer the problem.

I beg for your help. Watching TV on my computer is tolerable but not when it's in a small portion of my browser.
