Hi, this is Carlos
the problem that I have it just started in the last 3 dvds that I burned. i burned my dvds as i always have, by backing it up with DVDFab HD Decrypter 4, and then with DVD shrink, after I do that I burned the movie with Nero startsmart essentials, i choose as always DVD-video and burn the movie correctly. But when i try to put the movie in my computer to watch it it doesnt reade it and the computer tells me that the disk I just inserted is a DVD-ROM. I dont know what to do and i am wasting blank DVDs. the DVDs that i use to burn are the memorex ones, Ive used them before and I have never expirience any problem with them until now.
please somebody help me...

Thank you

Ditch Nero and use Imgburn for burning. Here is a link to a version of DVD Shrink that will call upon Imgburn for auto burning.

Memorex, like so many other brands right now, actually have different manufacturer's that make the disc. CMC MAG is the most vile of them all and renders bad results all across the board. It's completely possible you had one dye code from one spindle, and a completely different dye code on the next due to thier business practices.

Skip the hassles and do what the others here have suggested. We can't tell you how many times a week we're posting telling people to upgrade thier blank media for the best results.

Use good media! Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim, and Sony.

And, agree with LOCO...drop Nero, get ImgBurn.
