I've tried everything to try to run gpsp on irshell. you can by using the 3.xx kernel for gpsp letting one run gbz files--doesn't really cut it tho. Wonder if anyone has been able to run the gpsp application on irshell.

psp slim 3.90m33- irshell 3.90

darn man.. shame it's a slim... i think you'd need to get the gpsp compatible with Slim for you to run it through iRShell though.. i've only heard of a few emulators that run through slims... but i could be outdated on the matter..

Are you able to use GPSP through the XMB? I have a slim running 3.80m33-5 and I'm able to access my GBA emulator by going to application view.

Yeah, I'm able to run gpsp fine on my slim 3.90m33. Just that I want to run it on irshell. (which you can, just that when you run a rom it crashes). Also tried opening irshell and going to xmb and running it. Doesn't work.

That's weird. I just installed it today so I'm not very familiar with it either, the only thing I can suggest is checking to make sure you've installed the right version of IRShell. I just checked out a couple of my emulators and I was able to runt hem without any issues. Also you could try uninstalling your roms and emulators and putting them back on. Perhaps when you installed IRshell it mixed things up? Sorry I can't help more.

Hmm. Mine stopped working. Only thing that changed was I loaded some skins onto the memory stick and am using a custom one now, though I doubt that's the issue.

Unlike you however I am able to get them to run from XMB. Or at least one game so far hasn't crashed. I'm to lazy to reload everything...so let me know how it works out for you. Haha, no but seriously I'll screw around and see what I can get. No guarantees.

heh. Yeah no luck. I heard other ppl having the same problem. I think this is when there needs to be an irshell upgrade in the future so that it can run gpsp on irshell. Mostly so you can play metroid fusion while listening to some tunes. This problem might be solved for the phat if you add the 1.5 kernel add on. I have a slim tho..

The worst part of this ordeal is I was about four hours into a game (using XMB to load). Go to check it out today and my save has reverted back to 44 minutes. Now I know I saved because last night I shut off my PSP several times and loaded it up withotu issue. Now I have no desire to even try and get gpsp working because even if I do I might have to constantly restart my game.

Thats a humdinger. I just started to play gtavcs to get over this problem. I mean at least I can run snes while listening to music. There are so many good gba games tho. I patched the gpsp so that it can run "roms" (gbz) from Irshell but it's really weird and the saving is mediocre.

So you got it working through irshell? Would you mind saying a little bit more about how you did it?

A plugin that promises to run roms through the shell.
