PSPTube Not Running On 3.90 M33-3

I recently updated my PSP to 3.90 m33-3 firmware and heard about PSPtube and wanted to try it out. I have tried many different guides to installing it (including the one on this site) and get an error each time. I have tried the old version and the new one where the Youtube dev account is not needed. When I run PSPtube it briefly shows some text, but it disappears faster than I can read it and the screen goes black and none of the buttons work except using the home button. Does the program work on this firmware, or am I just doing something wrong every time? Thanks for any help.

Apologies but I just figured out my problem. Had to change the kernal reader thing to 3.xx.
