my shadow of colossus back up wont load

i have shadow of colossus and i ripped it using DVD decrypter and i burned it at 2x speed using the same program. i boot cogswaploader v1.0 by hermes and put in my grand theft auto 3 game let if read it then press x i then use the swap method and press x again and then nothing happens i just have the screen that says use cogswap and nothing else. i burned it on a maxwell dvd-r media. can someone please help me? also i have a v3 ps2.

I have this exact same game that I backed up, but I use swap magic. Don't know if this makes a difference or not. Never used cogswap before, sounds like too much of a hassle for me.

Oh yea, I use a fat ps2 and a slim ps2, works great on both systems.
