irshell is a shell replacement for the psp. Shell is like WIN Xp , linuz, mac ...etc.

I consider IRShell to be a plugin for a PSP.

It has so many advantages such as playing games that are on your PC through wifi or USB and playing music while playing a game etc.

Read the manual, is really good homebrew worth trying out.

Sorry to be a noob but how hard is it to get IRshell working on 3.80m33-5? I really don't wanna upgrade to 3.90 as I've heard of some minor issues playing PSX games.

Ive not had any problems using 3.90 M33-3 with the 1.50 addon and i regularly try out homebrew, ISO's CSO's and PSX

The main reason I installed it was to make my menu's feel less cluttered. I hated scrolling through 30 or 40 icons to get to the emulator I wanted.

You can get custom themes for IRshell just go to the IRshell configurator and select a different skin (you can download two packs right off of the IRshell website. You can also have custom themes for your XMB for the few times you need to use that (I can't get my GBA emulator to run through IRShell).

Do you have custom firmware? If you do download the software from here

Then just follow the firections, I'm pretty sure all you have to do is move the three folders over.

One of the nicest functions is able to multitask with irshell. (listen to music while playing,online, whatever.) You are going to have to patch the irshell to function properly on 3.90m33--..
