Hi ,

I own a legal copy of Prince of Persia- Sands of Time (NTSC). I backed it up and got two files - one mds and another mdf. I deleted the mds file thinking it would not be of any use. Now my game DVD got scratched and I created another one using the mdf file. On playing the game there is no sound.

Do I need the mds file ? If not, what is the method to burn the back up (mdf ) file without the mds file.

The MDS files has relevance, I suggest that you re-burn the MDF/MDS with DVD Dcrypter, and make sure that both files are named exactly the same, and are in the same directory.
