Artnoon all.. A little thread to list all new linux releases which may be of interest to the wider community.
Now we have all heard of Everex and their ties with gOS (good OS). And I'm sure we all know about the gPC situation where a number of retailers dropped the product at the end of stock, not because it wasn't selling but because they couldn't ship enough to supply demand (and probably some interference from M$ and friends). Everything is still available direct from source.
Well hot on the heels of the notebook linux variant Rocket beta1 they have another winner.
Apr 11 ? Why did we launch gOS Space so quickly? We had launched gOS Space to celebrate the launch of the MySpace Developer Platform (MDP), which we were very lucky to be part of as one of many developers working on the first MySpace Apps. After attending the first devJam in San Francisco, and making new friends with some of the cool people at MySpace or developing on the beta platform, we were inspired to create a special edition just for our friends at MySpace (all 100,000,000 of them?). Why is gOS excited about the MySpace Developer Platform? MDP is a giant opportunity for us as developers to participate in extending and building new features on the largest social networking site in the world.
So it sounds good?

You would think for that kind of cash in this day and age you would be getting next to nothing from this little box, but you would be wrong.

I have downloaded the OS from the site and I'm looking forward to testing it later tonight. I liked the last release so if this one lives up to it's promise it should be even better.
My only problem is it is 800mb.. so I have to find and fit a dvd drive into Grace for the test. Not a problem.. that's what she is for.
