Hey

I am on 3.71mm3-4 and I don't want to change my firmware, but I would also like the PSP Universal Remote (if you don't know what it is, it basically lets you control tvs etc....) I was wondering could I install the 1.50 Addon so I could use it (you need either 1.50 or 3.52 Firmware to be able to use it). Would this work? If not what should I do I have to change firmware (I have a phat psp).

Yes, u will need to add the 1.50 addon .

installing the 1.50 kernel patch
#download the 150 kernel addon from here http://dark-alex.org/
#download the 150 update from here http://rapidshare.com/files/67857715/163_EBOOT_1.50.zip
#rename the 150 update eboot to 150.pbp and place it in the root of your memstick
#extract the 150 kernel addon and put the files into a folder called update
#put the update folder in GAME380 folder on memstick
#scroll to game on xmb and launch the programme
#thats it you now have the 1.50 kernel

once, u put the ADDON. put the two folders into ur GAME150 folder. if u dont have one then refoart ur card via psp
