also make sure you aren't burning a max speed , keep your burn speed at 4x or 6x max with the memorex and as said there low quality get better media soon

that's odd. It's rare for that to happen 7 times in a row. Make sure software and hardware are same as before?
When the memorex +16 came out, Ricoh was their main manufacturer. All batches of 25/50/and 100 pks that I tested were all Ricohs and some pretty decent stuff. For over a year,Ricoh after Ricoh. A couple months ago,I picked up another spindle without looking at the wrapper. These were Made in India by Moser Bauer. Cmags also in there.
Here's the list of 3 manufacturers of +16x Memorex:
+16x Made in Taiwan 50 pk: Ricohjnp-r03-004
+16x CMCmag-M01
+16x Made in India:
MBIpg101
There may be more? Memorex did it on their 4x and 8x speeds, both formats. Now they're doing it again with having lower quality manufacturers produce media using the name Memorex. Don't worry, most other brands do the same thing: Maxell,Fuji,HP,TDK,Philips,Staple's,and the list goes on.
Picky stand alone players can tell a difference between the ricoh memorex and the MBI memorex-and it's during the playback.
If someone has any of the Cmag or MBI memorex, keep the burn speed to 4x. My benq 1650 hates the MBI memorex, but my Benq 1620 has no trouble with them except for lower quality disc scans.
