XMB plugin won't play MP3

So I've recently upgraded to 3.90M33 and tried installing the mp3prx plugin to play in game music and mp3s in the XMB. I created a new folder in the root of the MS called "seplugin" and inside I dropped the prx and created two txt documents; 1 called "game", and the other called "vsh". The docs specify the location of the mp3 so it should work....Well I restarted in recovery mode and enabled both options but once I'm back in the XMB the mp3s wont start playing. Is this common with 3.90M33 FW? Or am I missing something here?

disable the plugin in the VSH
