I recently purchased the Daxter bundle PSP and am eager to mod it out to fit the old NES, SNES, N64 and SEGA Emulators on it, download PSP games to load on it as well as enabling DivX playback. So let's get down to the nuts and bolts.

-The PSP comes with firmware 3.72 preloaded on it.

-The box it came in had the serial number printed on the bottom not the back indicating it should have the TA-085 motherboard and not the new TA-085 v2 board.

-You can switch the included battery (3.6v 1200 mAh) into "Pandora" or service mode then back when finished correct?

-The next important questions are the types of programs or open source codes I will need to carry out the modding. What version of Open Source code will I need? What version of the Pandora's stick will be needed? Basically a listing of what items I will need to download.

-Lastly some instructions on the order of operations would be greatly appreciated. After dropping the cash into the new PSP I would hate to brick it or mess it up somehow.

Thank you all for reading and submitting responses the help is more appreciated than you know.

first of all your mother board is v2 if u hav a psp slim so get informed a little about ur psp

second of all dont use ur psp slim battery because its easier to use a psp phat battery and then u can have a pandora and a original

thirdly if u Private Message me then i can help u find all the emulators that u need and if u want i can teach u how to mod a battery(SAFELY!) and i can help set up ur magic memory stick

@playto,

narutonew, is correct. Try not to use the PSP slim battery. See if u can buy a battery or DATEL tool battery. Just use this guide.
