cwcheat w/ 3.90m33

I have cwcheat w/3.90m33 no updates after that point... when i enable the plug-in in the recovery console and attempt to load a iso/cso, ratchet and clank... it just freezes my loads...so i try a different game..socom...it still does the same thing. but when i go into the recovery console and disable the plug-in and try to load game it works fine...i have flashed down to 3.71 then back up to 3.90, formatted mem stick, re-ripped disk...still locks up if i enable cwcheat....i know this isn't a major problem and most of you will say, "Well, don't cheat then." But once i have played a level in a game i like to go back with cheats and ruin the levels...anyone else had any problems like this before...i have searched threads and have found nothing about freezing while booting with cwcheat enabled. it maybe my version of cwcheat...don't know any advice would be helpful...

Hmm,1st check to make sure cwcheat in right folder "seplugins".Next I would try a full reinstall might b bad DB.1 weird thing tho I never heard of cwcheat making games not work.Thats definetly odd an not right.So you dont even hold 3seconds n w8 for it to come up? It just freezes b4 it starts?

some games i play as soon as i enable the cheats in the recovery mode it will not boot the iso/cso. but if i disable they will load with no problem...i guess i just won't be able to cheat...
