ok i have a few questions, so if someone could help that would be great. Ok to start i have a psp running 3.80 m33-5 firmware.
1. Would it be a good idea to upgrade to 3.90 m33-2
2. I play backup games from the mem stick is there anyway to do it without a umd in, cause i need one in to make it work, i have seen ones on you tube that dosent.
3. Willa genuine 8gb memstick work for homebrew
1 - yeah. if your on slim , you need it to time machine.
2 - yea , you can. jsut hit select in xmb and select the UMDISO MODE And hit right , select m33 driver.
3 - yes. you maybe need to apply some patch , im not sure.
1. Not really important. Unless, u got a slim. Since skype is added on the 3.90 M33-2
2. Follow what psp_naab said.
3. Homebrew works fine for 8 gb MS.
I haven't seen any reason to upgrade. I've gotten everything I've wanted to work on 3.80m33-5, well I haven't gotten the Saturn emulator working but I haven't seen anyone else talking about it so I figure it's not worth the hassle. As far as skype goes I guess it could be useful, however my cell phone plan is so cheap there's no immediate use for it.
I'd only upgrade if you intend to use Time Machine to play a bunch of the older homebrew.
Edit:I'm such a hypocrite, I just saw some homebrew I'd like to play so I'm in the midst of upgrading right now. Hopefully I don't need to redo all my folders to get my old stuff to work.
