Hey. I'm new to using homebrew(well never used it yet) and i'm getting a PSP soon and I was wondering... When using a Pandora's battery made out of a Phat psp battery on a slim will it work? Also, which one is better to use homebrew on the Slim or Phat one? Any other information there is would also be halpfull.

The Fat battery will work on a slim fine, i downgradeed my slim with a FAT tool battery.

Now, the slim has almost as much homebrew for it as the fat...its only the older homebrew apps that haven't been updated for the slim, however you can still get these using the TimeMachine by Dark_aleX.

hope that helps.

ok this helps greatly! Because my friend is going to put homebrew on my PSP when i get it this week so i wanted to know if his psp fat pandoras battery would work on the slim psp. He was saying some junk about how 95% of the PSP games that you would put on teh memory card to play would work on the slim but 5% wouldnt and 100% would work on the fat. But I didnt believe him.(Probably doesnt want me to have a better one than him:O)

I'm pretty certain that both the fat and the slim can run all the same homebrew, but to make some of it run on the slim you'll have to put a little more work into it. If you're willing to put in the extra effort, it's definitely worth having the slim >:D

Sabith is right, everything except the older homebrew apps can be run on the slim straight away, as most have been converted to be compatable. If you do want to use some of the older apps (which run on the 1.50 Kernel, you will need to install the TIMEMACHINE made by dark alex, which will allow the 1.50 kernel to be used on the slim.
