I have these 2 dvds that I am trying to back up (Incubus Morning View sessions and Incubus Alive at Red Rocks).
Well, I backed them up successfully, thats not an issue. They gave me vob, ifo, bup files and I already know i can convert the .vob's into avi with success.
My problem is that when I backed up my dvd, It didn't give me all of the dvd's content. Parts of the concert from the dvd aren't in the .vob files. I figured the ifo and bup files aren't the missing parts of the concert since i can't play those files on VLC player...but I'm just guessing.
I don't really know how this all works, I JUST got lucky successfully converting .vobs into .avi with another DVD
by the way, I'm on a Mac(10.4.11). I used DVDBackup to rip my DVD, then used VisualHub to stich the vob's and convert it to Avi. If there's any better/faster free programs, I'd love any advice. Thanks.
