I am using the independence exploit and so far I have tryed to backups. First I tryed FFX and everytime I got to a certain spot the game glitched. Next I tryed we love katamari and after I press X when I switched the discs, the game doesn't get past the first loading screen, even before the main menu...
I am using a v4 ps2, the ps1 game I using is nfl blitz and the ps2 game I am using is high school musical sing it!(I got the game for free, when I bought the used ps2) does it have anything to do with the TOC size on the ps2 high school musical dvd? And FFX stops in a cutscene, it looks like I am about to get to the point where I can start moving again, but in the cutscene the main character(forget his name, I just started playing) basically teleports into the person you are talking to(who is your friend, and I think he fights along with you).
Can anyone help?
If you were able to backup the game onto you PC hard drive without problems, and after possible rebuilding your game still stutters it's either a media issue or your laser needs to be replaced.

Ok first yes your Original PS2 DVD you use to swap with has to have a higher TOC than the backup you will be playing.
