what is the speed of the ram and what re the timings. adding more ram will not make your score go up automatically. the new ram needs to be faster and have better timings.if you can overclock the memory you should be aable to get your score up.

Adding memory won't increase your vista performance score, but it will improve the performance of your PC. The Vista experience rating does not concern memory above 4GB, and only really benches the CPU, drives and Graphics.

Although on paper Windows 32 bit operating systems including Vista can use 4 gigabytes in practice they can't address more than 3 Gigabytes of memory. Here is a site that offers a reasonable explanation and a fix, but you'll have to get your hands a bit dirty.

Good heavens, Soph has returned!
That's an interesting guide, I suffer from the 32-bit 4GB limitations myself, so I may have to have a read.
