I just ripped a copy Star Ocean 2 I had lying around to .bin files using imgburn, as was recommended in the PyPOPS guide above, but when I try to make my eboot I get an error message in my command box stating "Invalid number of arguments," and further down, "the system cannot find the file specified."
I'm not quite sure what I'm doing wrong here... I'm fairly certain that I need to enter a Game Title for the eboot to be made, but should I be entering something into the Game Code field? Is there a chance that my disc images are corrupt, or in the wrong format?
Once again, any help that any of you can offer me would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, you will need to input the game code for the game you are playing. There may be a quicker way to do this, but i use ICETEA (single eboot creator...download HERE) to find it. Run the ICETEA program, then select the .bin file. It will then show the game code in the field on the right of the window (called game ID i think). The code should be something like SLPS01222.
I will edit the guide with this information tonight. Hope that helps, post back if you have any more problems :)
Thanks ibizagti! I followed your instructions and using ICETEA, I successfully made the eboot. I'm having trouble running the eboot now though. I put it in my PSP/GAME/ folder, but can't find it when I try to launch it from the XMB. I'm running 3.90-3 m33, should it be in a different folder, perhaps?
Edit: I put the eboot inside it's own folder, and added a keys.bin file as well, and thus far, everything's running smoothly. Now I just need to keep my fingers crossed for the second disc :P
