Mod: I'm not sure if this is exactly the right thread. I am working with an XP client, but also my questions are about server 2003. This was my closest/best guess for the thread.
When I remote into my server from another location (Server 2003) and if I play an audio file on the server, should audio be streamed back to me as well, or can remote desktop only do video? And if audio is supposed to be streamed back, is there anything to look for if it isn't?
Second, I am trying to setup vpn on my server 2003 (connecting to an XP client). I configure the role, and my computer, when I type in the IP address and user name/pass, says that it is connected, but then it can't access anything. It's weird. It will say I am connected to the vpn, but then I can't browse the web, or access any of my networked files. (I have a server, hosting files over my network, such as my music and movies so I can stream them to wherever I am). So main point, I believe I can connect into it (already configured port forwarding) but just can't get anything out. I would assume that it isn't a port forwarding issue since I can connect. Any ideas? Thanks.
