So in my eagerness to get my PSX games going on my 3.71m33-4 mod slim, I used PopstationGUI beta to create an eboot of FF7.

It worked great. It loads up just fine.

I have not done anything with the other 2 discs though. From what I read, in order to get multi-disc support, I need to create another image with the game GameID name, but this will overwrite my disc 1 eboot.

I saw somewhere a link for the new popstation gui with multi-disk support in the same eboot but I dont really want this, because my mem stick is only 2 GB, and as a new dad I wont be buying another anytime soon.

When FF 7 prompts me for the second disk, what should I do?

Thanks from a noob.

Okay, so let me get this straight.
-You have disc one and two in one eboot file.
-You don't want to use the popstation gui with multi-disk support because your memory stick is only 2 GB and that would take up alot of space having the whole game at once?

Because I know that with FFVII you don't have to make multi disk eboots. the game itself askes you to save at the end of each disc alowing you to continue on to the next eboot with no problems.

OK - thanks for clearing that up. Its been a very long time since I played it, and I wasnt sure what would happen when the disk transitions came.

But your summary is almost right. Basically if I have games that are multi-disk, I'd like to only load one disk eboot at a time on the memory stick, to save space.

Oh yeah for sure then. You should have no issues changing discs after it askes you to save.
