Hi fellas I just got a fat psp version 2.71 and was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction. I used to be all up-to-date with the homebrew on psp but then I stop playing mine. There are so many tutorials and such I have no clue where to start or what to do. Im sure I might get bashed for the noob questions but I figure one person might be able to help. Thanks

usually i'd recommend downgrading back to 1.50, and then upgrade to custom firmware from there, but there's the possibility of a brick happening.

use THIS guide to get to custom firmware. i recommend using a separate battery and a 512mb memory stick, because you can place them aside when you're done with it. you won't have to worry about bricks, and you can put custom firmware on any psp with ease.
