Hello,

I've encountered an problem which I've been unable to solve. Just recently I bought an used SB Live! Value - PCI sound card. It works just fine, but I have problem to connecting it with extra connectors. So if anyone can help me, I'll be gratedful.. Below is what I need to accomplish:

On my computer case, there is extra audio connectors in front case, which include mic and speaker connector holes. The wires from those used to end up in my motherboard as I used to have integrated sound card. I'm wondering if I can plug them in to somewhere in SB live to get my front case connectors work so that I wont need to go backside of my computer every time I want to change between loudspeakers and headphones.. I'd like to have speakers connected directly to sound card at the back of the computer case, and headphones connected to the front side...

Now if anyone can make sense of above and actually can help, that would be wonderful!

Thanks in advance,

-v
