My friends pc is a Compaq I cant get the specs it wont load.
HOw do I reset it?
Changing mem. wont help. Ive disconnt. all the drives to see if it was that. I have to get this running, what can i do?

u can find the specs in the bios. if it doesn't get into the bios then make sure that the mobo aint fried and that everything is plugged in

1 short, 2 long Bad RAM Reseat RAM then retest; replace RAM if failure continues

try clearing the cmos as that works for me sometimes.
