x server failed to start

i just installed Debian and i booted it up and i got an error that said the x server has failed to start. i took a picture of the log file

after i looked at that i logged in at the command line and checked out my xorg.conf file and i didn't see anything wroing with it. if anyone know how to fix it that would be great.

Couple of things you could try.

dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg

and follow trough the wizard type thing.. if it still doesn't want to know try looking at the xorg.conf file, especially around the area of the device graphics driver section.. that's the usual one.

Did you select "desktop" in the installation menu?? If you are sure you did then you can either use apt-get to try installing the x environment again, or validate your media and try installing again.

Otherwise.. there are more answers and possibilities than I can ever post.. google is your friend.
