BIOS Screen frozen in time.....Need help Now....please.

Help Needed in a bad way now.....Please

As I was plugging in a USB 2.0 device (mp3 player) to charge the player my desktop went away and up popped a BIOS "looking" screen.

The bad thing is..... when I click on the keys they recommend at the bottom of the screen, nothing (and I mean nothing) happens....."Del", "F9", "F12", and "End". The screen just stays there....as if frozen in time.

The computer is still running.....but I can't get any response by clicking on the keys they suggest........and I'm afraid to just turn the computer off......at least not before I hear from some of you guys.

Plus, the little yellow/amber light on the computer near the off button stays lite steady......no flickering.

I'd appreciate a quick response......as I'm sitting here just sweating it.....don't know what to do.

Help me....someone.
