Silent Hill 3 graphics glitch crash

Whenever I launch Silent Hill 3 (PC obviously), I get the "some parts of the game may be considered violent or cruel" message, which stays there even when I hear the opening music, and when I get to the menu. In the main menu, I get an infinite trail of mouse pointers, and trying to start a new game crashes it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am a huge SH fan.

Edit: I've also tried launching with 3d Analyze, but no luck.
