does anyone know specific ram chips for a Dell Dimension E521?

or should i just bring my computer in and have them fix it?

i know my computers limits are 4 Gigs...

so 1gig per slot. will only be able to access 3 to 3.5gig unless using 64bit version of windows.

You can get RAM in places like Best buy but it'll be cheaper online.

ya i figured that, but its kind of a silly story..

my bday was recent and so my dad bought me three gigs worth of ram and a vid card,

the vid card workd fine but the ram is for a laptop,

so now i HAVE to return them for store credit...
so i may as well buy them there...
