FFVII PAL 3.10oe-A' Problem

I am trying to play PAL version of Final Fantasy VII from an EBOOT i made from the original disc (not torrent/iso).

The game loads fine and gets as far as the menu screen. As soon as I click New Game it fades to black... and that's as far as it gets. Anyone have any ideas?

is there a keys.bin file ? If not, then get it. Or just upgrade to M33 firmware

Yes the Keys.bin file is there...

Thanks for your help... which version firmware would you recommend? There seems to be a few labelled M33... Is there much difference between them? What's the lowest one I should upgrade to?

try upgrading since it expand the pop compatibility list . Follow this guide to install 3.90 M33
