Ok guys I recently started using Vista Ultimate because of DX10, this is an odd problem here.... I have been burning dvd's for around 7 years now, and i have never had any problems with the finished product not playing on my dvd players. The only way my DVD's do play in my players are if i use convertxtodvd the vso program. However when I use any other program dvdshrink/nero it never plays unless I use +R's. I have switched DVD Burners, so I know its not the burn even though its just lite on. I have tried HP, Playo, Verbatim, Taiyo, Memorex, and some weird wal-mart brand. Again this did not start happening until I installed Vista. Any help would be great Thanks!!!
Hai, everything is updated(firmware) As far as the error on my dvd players it just says dvd wont play, i have the divx magnavox model player. It is odd, when i play it in my pc it acts pretty funny too when I skip chapters. The only way they will play is if I do it through convertxtodvd for both -r's and +r's however I can use +r's with any program. Everything is up to date as far as codec packs, I actually have quite a few of them on here, and I have the new SP 1. My 3 TB space is running out lol. I have used many encoders including ulead, favc, nero, interviideo, well I actually dont know all of them but theres a lot! Any help is great!!! Thank you for your reply......I'm stumped on this one
