I'm using imgburn to rip and burn my games and I'm using maxell dvd + R discs to burn to and I'm using cog swap for slim to play them but it wont work when i push X in cog swap the disc spins a little bit like the ps2 is trying to read it but after about 15 seconds it stops and nothing happens a booted a regular game with cog swap and it worked so i know I'm doing it right but i don't know what the problem is

I'm pretty sure you need to set the booktype to DVD-ROM when using +R media. I always use -R so I've never quite run into that problem. Burning at low speeds (4X) is also a good idea if your not already doing so.
