hi, im new im probably making quite a redundant thread, but i still cant find the answer to my problems on your threads. I have tried backing up my guitar hero game using dvd decrypter, alcohol 120, nero, img burn, and a lot more, and all of them say the same thing error incompatiable medium, unable to burn. I dont understand why it is saying that bc my dvd burner is set up to burn on dvd+ and dvd-. If you could give me some help on this problem I would greatly appreciate it, also thank you for dealing with my extremely redundant thread.

Is this a fairly new Burner, if not perhaps try updating your Firmware.

With Imgburn or DVD Decrypter , open it and Click on "TOOLS" then select "Drive" and at the Bottom "Check for Firmware Updates.

See if that helps first.

every thing is updated i just get a i/0 error
saying interpretation cannot write medium - incompatible format

i trying to use dvd -r
because i have swapmagic 3 it is for dvd-r that what is says on the box doe the propgrams take - r dvds ?

Ok so you do have the latest firmware for your DVD Burner.

What brand of discs are you using?

Is your Guitar Hero an ISO image?
