Pioneer DVR 112 and 115
Nero 7 (latest Version)
DVDnextcopy

If i take a DVD and convert it with dvdnextcopy I can not burn a DVD-R or DVD+R SINGLE LAYER
Example: The DVD will convert fine. If the DVD is 4500M in size it will store it in the temp file at the same size. Can watch it on my pc from the file. BUT when I burn it to a single layer it stops burning at 4302M. What is strange is I can burn it with dvdnextcopy with a DVD DL and burn the whole file.
Same thing with nero 7 when using Visions. If I download a DVDR5 and want to convert it from PAL to NT it will convert fine, but when start the buning process it will fail at about 90 or 95% using a single layer, but works fine if I use a Dual Layer Strange thing is if I convert the same file in Vision and save it to my hard drive, I can them burn it using Nero ROM with a single layer.

Things I have tried are using diffent DVD-Rs like Verbatim, Menorex TDK.
I have replaced my DVR form a Pioneer 112 to a 115

I have reload both Nero using all their cleaning tools and working with their tech support for two weeks

I have reinstalled DVDnextcopy

I have reinstalled these products in the past am doing everything right
What would cause me not to burn a single layer DVD.

What I have been doing that also works is convert a DVD9 with nextcopy and save it as a DVD9 file. Then shrink it with Nero recode to a single layer......Whats up my drive?????????
