Ok I got a Westinghouse lcd tv in December from best buy with an extended warranty. I have a thin vertical line from the top to bottom of my screen. Its pretty much at the edge of the 4x3 cropped image when watching regular tv. The bb tech just left and said that this isnt covered by the manufacturer and im pretty much screwed. He said to try to get ice age and play it for a while and it might go away as i need a bright white image. So this means my extended warranty was a waste of money. The tech said its like the burn in on plasmas. Has anyone had this happen on their lcd tv. Is there something else i can do? I thought Lcd tv couldnt get burn in

Never buy an extended warranty unless it offers a "no questions asked" return policy.

At least that's my view on this subject.
